MEMBER APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

These instructions will walk you through the online process to apply for new membership or renew membership.

 

Overview:

  • Sign into the DRYA website if you have an existing user account. If not, create a user account and password.

  • Enter your member information

  • Select the type of membership you prefer

  • Add boat(s) you would like to register for the DRYA Counter Series

  • Review your application

  • Select your preferred payment type

  • Complete payment

 

Step 1 - Sign in or Create an Account

  • Click the person icon at the top right corner of the DRYA website

  • Choose 'Sign In' or 'Apply / Renew'

  • Enter your email address and password. If you don't already have an account, a new one will be created with the email address and password you entered.

  • If you have forgotten your password, click on the 'Forgot Password' link on the Member Sign In page and follow the prompts to reset your password.

  • If you are creating a new account, you will be required to verify your email address with a code that is emailed to the provide email address. It can sometimes take a couple minutes to receive the email with the code so please be patient.

  • You should now be signed into the DRYA website. You can confirm by clicking on the person icon at the top right corner. If you are signed in, there will be a 'Sign Out' option listed in the drop down menu.

 

Step 2 - Start Membership Application

  • If you signed in from the home page, the membership application process should start automatically.

  • If you are not automatically taken to the membership application, you can click the person icon at the top right corner of the DRYA website and then select 'Membership Application' from the drop down menu.

 

Step 3 - Enter Member Information

  • If you are renewing and your email address could be linked to previous membership, your member information should be pre-populated. Please confirm your information.

  • If it is not pre-populated, enter your member information.

  • When the form is completed, click Next to continue

 

Step 4 - Select Membership

  • Choose the membership type you prefer

  • Details about the different membership types is available by clicking on the information icon next to Membership Types.

  • You can also choose to pay boat co-owner does by clicking the checkbox and entering the co-owners information

  • When the form is completed, click Next to continue

 

Step 5 - Counter Series Race Registration

  • If you are registering for the DRYA Counter Series, enter the boat information for your race registration.

  • After the form is completed for the race registration, additional boats can be added as needed.

  • When done entering race registration information, click Next to continue

 

Step 6 - Application Review

  • Review your application for accuracy

  • If anything needs to be updated, click the edit icon to the right of each section label

  • Once review is complete, choose your payment method

  • Click Next to continue

 

Step 7a - Online Payment

  • Review the amount and click one of the PayPal options to proceed

  • You will be prompted for you payment information

  • Once finished, you should be taken to a confirmation page

  • At that point, your application is complete.

 

Step 7b - Check Payment

  • The total payment amount and check delivery instructions are provided

  • Please send the check as instructed

  • At that point, your application is complete and your membership will be active once the check has cleared
